Budget Friendly Meal

Lately I have been obsessed with trying out recipes. This week I decided to try out Trader Joe’s Sriracha BBQ Chicken Skewers.

One thing that I liked about this recipe is that it is easy on the wallet.

The ingredients you need are;

  1. Boneless Chicken Breasts
  2. TJ’s Organic Sriracha & Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce
  3. Pollo Seasoning
  4. Bamboo Skewers (recommended to soak in water)

In the end I customized the way I made the dish. What I did was get the chicken breast and chop them into cubes. Before I put them into a bowl I poke them with a knife so the TJ sauce can go into the chicken. So after putting the cubes of chicken into the bowl I pour in the TJ sauce. I just wanted the chicken lightly covered in the sauce.

After 15 minutes of setting, I get the cubes of chicken and start putting them into the screwer. To add more flavor I sprinkled the Pollo seasoning all around the meat.

Once the meat is cooked throughly you can enjoy dipping it into Sriracha for an extra kick.
